Public debate: "Science, Art, Sport & Neutrality: Can Switzerland remain a neutral hub?"

Amid rising geopolitical tensions, Swiss neutrality is under pressure not only in diplomacy but also in science, art, and sport. Can Switzerland still serve as a truly neutral hub?

Speakers:

  • Carl Gustav Lundin, marine biologist, former director at IUCN, expert in ocean governance
  • Lisa Emelia Svensson, Minister-Counsellor, Permanent Mission of Sweden to the UN
  • Amb. Jean-Daniel Ruch, former Swiss Ambassador to Serbia, Turkey, and Israel
  • Gérard Escher, Senior Advisor, GESDA

Moderator:

  • Nicolas Ramseier, President, Geneva Center for Neutrality

Special guests including pianist Nikolay Khozyainov and Daniele Gerundino, senior policy and strategy expert, will also contribute during the discussion.
