The “Geneva Center for Neutrality” is a non-partisan think tank committed to the importance of dialogue and democratic debate. It aims to create spaces for reflection and discussion on issues related to neutrality, with a particular focus on Swiss neutrality

Sundeep Waslekar
President of Strategic Foresight Group
Sundeep Waslekar leads India’s SFG, advising 50+ countries on conflict resolution, water diplomacy, and foresight. Oxford alumnus, author of A World Without War, he promotes a bold global contract for peace.
Paul Widmer
Former Swiss ambassador
PhD from the University of Zurich, is a former Swiss diplomat and ambassador. He authored books on diplomacy and taught international relations at the University of St. Gallen.
Katy Cojuhari
Civil diplomacy professional
Katy Cojuhari is the book author “Building Peace: Moldova-Switzerland”, presented at the GCSP in 2022, which is focusing on the peacekeeping role of both countries associated with their neutral status.
Brunson McKinley
Former American ambassador, experienced political observer
With degrees from the University of Chicago and Harvard, he served in diplomatic posts in Rome, Beijing, London, Berlin, etc. He then served ten years as Director General of the IOM in Geneva.
Tobias Clerc
Swiss politician
Engaged in politics, Tobias Clerc has held several positions within the Municipal Council of Meyrin, including his current role as President.
Hrair Balian
Adjunct Professor at the Emory University School of Law (the USA)
He has practiced conflict resolution for the past 35 years in the Middle East, Africa, Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. He has served in leadership positions with the UN, OSCE and NGOs.
Nawaf Obaid
Senior Research Fellow at King’s College London
Nawaf Obaid is a political scientist who works on intelligence and security issues. He specialises in the history of war and defence doctrines, with a particular emphasis on nuclear posturing.

    On Octobre 18, in a café in Geneva, Jean-Daniel Ruch, Nicolas Ramseier and Ecaterina Cojuhari co-founded the Geneva Center for Neutrality and sign the first documents.
